We All Should Be Fasting In Protest Of Washington's "Gazillioning Down" On Illegal Immigration
All of us who passionately post about immigration reform should peruse the Senate's S.744.

SEC. 6. COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM FUNDS.
(a) (2) DEPOSITS-
(A) INITIAL FUNDING- On the later of the date of the enactment of this Act or October 1, 2013, $46,300,000,000 shall be transferred from the general fund of the Treasury to the Trust Fund.
(C) (i) $50,000,000 to carry out the activities referenced in section 1104(a)(1).(ii) $50,000,000 to carry out the activities referenced in section 1104(b).

Now look under 1104(a) which gives Arizona Senator McCain's beloved US Border Patrol Tucson Sector an additional $50,000,000 for enhancing "Operation Streamline" type prosecutions of the undocumented, and 1104(b) "Operation Stonegarden" which gives an additional $50,000,000 dollars to FEMA to do God only knows what on the border.
How does all of this relate to the fasting families of this article and the legalization of 11.5 million undocumented people in the US?
We share 1.25 billon dollars a day in cross border trade with Mexico, yet our government is asking US citizens to authorize $46,300,000,000 more to secure our border because countries like Mexico won't provide prosperity for its own citizens?
I dare say Washington is corporatizing and institutionalizing the militarization of our border. That translates into billions upon billions of our tax dollars and American jobs being funneled into and dependent upon continued illegal immigration and illegal drugs.
This is not reform. This gazillioning down on the status quo. This is what our entire country should be fasting about.
