What would happen if the Mexican government actually provided a living wage and security for its own citizens? The undocumented would not come here or stay here.
The elite who run both countries profit at the expense of US taxpayers and Mexico's poor. Their politicians have brainwashed American voters into believing that there is an enforcement fix to not only illegal immigration, but illegal drugs too.
We have been lied to, just as in mortgage meltdowns, debt ceilings, failed health care, and the loss of the standard of living for American taxpayers.

The US backed drug war in Mexico is creating the conditions for a mass exodus from Mexico. As a retired US Border Patrol Agent, I welcome mass asylum as a slap in the face to the elite who rape the good people of the US and Mexico.
