Nation of the Blind - 1% Pimps and Their Prostitute Politicians

Writer Chris Hedges recently wrote about Americans who choose to "retreat into the fantasies embraced by a nation of the blind" in his article "How to Think" http://www.opednews.com/articles/2/How-to-Think-by-Chris-Hedges-120709-77.html.

We are a nation of the blind, and it is the blind that are responsible for the murder of not only this Mexican citizen, but all of our Border Patrol Agents, soldiers, and law enforcement officers who work and die to enforce the 1%'s "laws" of the nation of the blind.  

Just read the responses to this article.  Back and forth the opinions and arguments of hatred will go.  Yet who will directly accuse the US and Mexican 1% pimps, their prostitute politicians, and their “nation of the blind” for this crime?

The only reason that the border fence is there is because the 1% of both countries profit from it while the pawn US taxpayers and the Mexican poor pay.  Some pay with their money and others with their lives.     

You have been brainwashed to believe that the border fence is there to protect you.  The truth is that the fence is there only to protect the 1%’s interests:  one billion dollars a day in cross border trade, the exportation/importation an undocumented labor force, illegal drug/weapons profits, Mexican oil, and Mexican remittances, US privatized prisons and US political platforms.    

You fools have met the enemy, and the enemy is us.
