Immigration Reform Sets America's Undocumented Count Back To Zero While Changing Nothing
"Get right by the law" means extorting 11.2 million people out of labor peonage in order to set America's undocumented count back to zero. Then Washington's corporate elite (and the undocumenteds' home country elite) will repeat this decades'-old process again as "reform" does absolutely nothing to address or solve the root problem of illegal immigration.
Or put another way, Washington's immigration profiteers will put another "reform band aide" over their own self-inflicted immigration wounds and start America's undocumented count-up to their next "reform".
Washington's own trade policies (NAFTA/CAFTA/pending TPP) exacerbate the economic conditions in the undocumenteds home countries that push them here. Combine that with the reform "carrot" and millions more people will be lured here for their cheap labor.
And the thousands of border deaths that will result from the process are just Washington's cost of doing "immigration reform" business.
