Remember the joke about someone stopping for directions and being told "you can't get to there from here"?
Hey CHC, you can't get to there (stopping deportations) from here (failing to address the root cause of deportations).
Kind of like asking Washington to stop soldier causalities without asking Washington to stop wars.
The root cause of deportations and illegal immigration is government induced poverty (NAFTA) and the government induced Drug War.
The CHC strengthens Washington's illegal immigration by demanding to stop deportations without addressing the actual cause of deportations.
CHC, you can't get to there from here and that is by design - and your own ignorance.
Most people here would rather get on their soap boxes and rage about their simplistic solutions to illegal immigration than educate themselves to the insidious, underlying causes of illegal immigration and Washington's illegal immigration narrative.
The two major players in this duopoly parading as a democracy each have their role to play in Washington's immigration reality show.
One plays the good immigration cop, the other plays the bad.
Now the scene is set to put on the show for voters. Each side blames the other while voters remain ignorant to the fact that both "sides" work for the same "police department".
Their goal? Keep the bucks rolling in for their corporate cronies hiring illegal workers and their corporate cronies cashing in on billions of tax dollars in border security boodle. Meanwhile, we the people remain clueless.
As a retired US Border Patrol/INS/ICE agent, it has taken me years to understand this scam. I hope my learning will help you.
