Institutionalized (Fill In The Blank) Ineffectiveness Brings Billions to Washington's Cronies
Does (or did) any of Washington's cronies profit from ineffective health care? How about the war in Iraq? How about the Great Recession of 2008? How about higher education and student loans? How about the rising costs of fuel and food? How about ineffective environmental protection? How about NAFTA job losses? How about our 40+ year long war on drugs?
You fill in the blank. AND why would ineffective immigration laws and enforcement be any different?
As a retired US Border Patrol/INS/ICE agent, it took me years to accept the truth. All things immigration in Washington revert back to crony profits from cheap labor, border security boodle, political graft, ineffective/profitable enforcement and NAFTA/CAFTA trade agreements that favor the trading rich at the expense of their countries citizens.
Washington's illegal immigration scam is not unlike their war on drugs: unwinnable
by design which translates into decades of acceptable enforcement ineffectiveness in exchange for billions in tax payer-funded corporate boodle.
