Illegal Immigration and Immigration Reform - How To Benefit and Profit Off Of The Undocumented
First of all let me say that I am happy for Mr. Garcia. He has worked hard for his law degree and deserves his license.
What I am not happy about concerning illegal immigration is how Washington and its cronies profit off of not only the undocumented but US taxpayers too. That is flat out corrupt and wrong.
This decision in Mr. Garcia's law licensing case is not hard to understand. We just need to take an honest look at how various entities in the US profit off of or benefit from undocumented people like Mr. Garcia.
Some almond grower profited off of Mr. Garcia's labor while Mr. Garcia picked almonds.
The undocumenteds' home country economies benefit from the undocumenteds' remittances sent back home.
The educational system profits off of students like Mr. Garcia and other undocumented who pay tuition to attend schools and colleges.
The medical industry keeps its profit high while reimbursing itself for coverage for undocumented patients.
Individual citizens who hire undocumented day workers profit off of cheap labor.
Small business who hire the undocumented over US citizens profit from the undocumenteds' labor costs.
Large unions who are part of the AFL/CIO profit off of undocumented members' dues.
Despite laws that disallow it, many large hotel/motel, construction, food processing, fast food, landscaping corporations etc. profit off of undocumented laborers.
The Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), a privatized prison corporation, profits off of US tax payers who pay $120 per undocumented inmate per night for said undocumenteds' imprisonment. Nationwide there are 34,000 CCA beds available. Of course one needs to factor in all of the enforcement and judicial costs that US taxpayers' pay as associated with the undocumented too.
And who profits off of Immigration Reform?
The Hispanic vote is something that US politicians try use the undocumented to benefit from.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is attempting to obtain more H1-b high tech visas through the cause of the undocumented and comprehensive immigration reform.
Washington crony border industrial security industry is attempting to initially obtain $46,300,000,000 tax dollars to "secure the border" from the undocumented via the Senate's S. 744: Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act. See Section 6:
