NAFTA - How Washington Sold America's Soul To "El Diablo"
Even if the Mexican middle class did get a small NAFTA bone, where did that bone come from? US workers' jobs transferred south? And who else but American taxpayers have had to cough up millions of dollars as they continue to suffer the costs and consequences of NAFTA's increased Mexican illegal immigration?
I dare any of these Washington millionaires to take one of their loved ones to an over-crowded hospital emergency room - say in Sacramento, CA. I wonder how many of Washington's elite have had to lose jobs to the undocumented? Or who have suffered unfair, rapid but permanent NAFTA-related demographic changes to their small towns?
One could say that today's Washington's immigration reform is an large part due to Clinton's NAFTA.
Do you know that the Mexican and American NAFTA elite share some 1.25 billion dollars a day in cross border trade? Do you know that Mexico is our second largest supplier of oil? Take a peek at how our own US Department of State raves about our "relations" with Mexico:
