The US government continually shoots itself in its illegal immigration foot: Clinton's 1994 NAFTA pushed record amounts of Mexican undocumented into the US despite Clinton's promises that NAFTA would do the opposite.
Speaking as a retired US Border Patrol/INS/ICE agent, our government simultaneously corporatizes illegal immigration amnesties and border security buildups while sending all the costs and consequences to the US taxpayers.
Worst of all American voters just can seem to connect the insidious illegal immigration dots to their own rapes.
