Profit Above Human Life: The Bi-national Tragedies of Mexican Illegal Immigration and Illegal Drugs

The above article uses the number so often quoted for Calderon's Drug War deaths (70,000). This total is inaccurate. The actual number is closer to 120,000. http://truth-out.org/news/item/13001-calderon-reign-ends-with-six-year-mexican-death-toll-near-120000
Tell me dear Americans why our politicians say nothing of this horrible war and number of people killed? The tragic use of poisonous gas in Syria killed 1,200 people and Washington came unhinged. Yet they say nothing about Calderon's use of the Mexican Military to cause the slaughter of 120,000 people just south of us? Do you honestly believe the Mexican Drug War is only about the bad guys killing the bad guys? Or as this article points out, what about the tens of thousands of kidnappings? Is this bad guys kidnapping bad guys?
Meanwhile Washington pussy foots around with immigration reform which by now has pushed God only knows who and how many more undocumented people (including cartel thugs) into the US so they can too apply for RPI status?
Oh I know that the current reform applies only those undocumented who entered prior to December 31, 2011. You do remember the amount of fraud committed during Reagan's Amnesty don't you?

You ain't seen nothing yet. There are not enough ICE agents to investigate the fraud that is coming with this give away.
Mexico has us over a barrel because of trade, illegal drugs and illegal immigration, and on top of that Harvard University gives ex-Mexican Drug War President Felipe Calderon their First Angelopoulos Global Leader award and fellowship?

My God what a slap in the face to common people on both sides of the border.
Yep. Start a drug war for us that results in the deaths of 120,000 (and counting) people and see how the US Harvard elite rewards you.
We have to connect all of these insidious dots to Washington and Mexico and expose this tragic, bi-national drug war and illegal immigration for what they are: profit above human life.
