Why Washington's Immigration Reform Has No Dignity

Why Washington's Immigration Reform Has No Dignity

How does Washington's proposed immigration reform have dignity when it institutionalizes the insidious system of profitized illegal immigration that for decades now has kept undocumented people pouring over the US/Mexican border?  How does it give dignity to US taxpayers who continue to see their tax dollars poured down Washington's crony "border security" black hole?

There is no dignity in casting 11.2 million undocumented people into 13 years of labor peonage in exchange for the possibility of  US citizenship;  especially when Washington ignores the root cause of those undocumenteds' illegal immigration (US co-created home country poverty).

There is no dignity in maintaining a system that allows two governments to take people's dignity and tax dollars away in exchange for cheap labor and higher profits.

If there was any dignity left in either the US or Mexican governments they would stop this insanity today.  The wealth and resources are there for both governments to provide prosperity for their own citizens in their own countries. You know they share 1.25 billion dollars a day in cross border trade don't you?

Give the good people of Mexico a chance to prosper in their own country so they do not have to break US laws and be chased around like wild animals in the night. Give the US Border Patrol a fighting chance to stop the real criminals who sneak across our borders and not be overwhelmed by the multitudes of poor people only looking for work.

This in turn would mean that the good people of America would stop losing jobs, stop waiting in long emergency room lines, and stop seeing their hometown demographics unfairly chased for the worse.

To all of the undocumented, US taxpayers, and all of their supporters:  stop selling out human dignity for Washington's reform bribery.  Hold out until we all can force the bi-national profiteers to stop home country poverty for profit, and give prosperity to all of their citizens.
