Yes, How Many More Undocumented People Will Die Because Of This CIR's Corker-Hoeven Provision?
Thank you Bill Ong Hing! It is good to hear a voice of reason through all of this Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) fervor.
It is good to hear yet another prominent voice detail just what Clinton's "Operation Gatekeeper" and NAFTA did to the good people of Mexico and to the US.
And here we go again with more of the same - The Corker-Hoeven Provision. How many times will it take before American voters get just what the Border Security Industrial Complex is up to?
Just imagine if both the Mexican and the US governments did the right thing for not only their own citizens, but the citizens of each others countries too.
Americans need to wake up. Mexican illegal immigration just does and did not happen in a vacuum. The entire bi-national (and global) illegal migration systems are set up to profitize labor.
In the case of US and Mexico, the bi-national elite profit while the undocumented and US taxpayers suffer all of the costs and sometime deadly consequences.
Washington's "border security" propaganda underlies a huge part of money being made. Just like the war on drugs: someone is getting rich off of the never-ending battle, while a real solution would kill the goose that lays those golden, drug laden eggs.
Just ask ex-Mexican President Felipe Calderon as he finishes up his lucrative year's long fellowship at Harvard. Meanwhile some 120,000 people have been sacrificed.
