Our kleptocracy's war against drugs has become institutionalized as a part of their military industrial complex. Cronies of "our duly elected" kleptocracy simultaneously make money legally (by laws that they write and enforce) and illegally by allowing the laws that they write and enforce to be broken. Or do they simply make laws against the unenforceable (a topic for another time)?

The bi-national rich do no want to kill the goose that lays those golden drug-laden eggs. They pretend to want to enforce it only to the extent that they can justify ripping us off for more tax dollars poured down that nebulous border security black hole.
Here is a little secret: their kleptocratic war against illegal immigration is also profit driven. Washington simultaneously cashes in pretending to enforce immigration laws while reaping the rewards of continual illegal immigration for cheap labor and immigration "reforms"!
